Nuclear Medicine Information Session
Nuclear medicine is a unique branch of radiology as it provides information about the structure and function of nearly every vital organ system in our bodies. This program prepares students to become Nuclear Medicine Technologists. Nuclear Medicine Technologists prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients and perform diagnostic procedures on virtually every organ system in the human body by using highly sophisticated computerized detection systems to produce and process images. Completion of the A.S. degree in nuclear medicine can be completed in less than two years.
