Broward College Offers Students a Variety of Class Options to Complete Their Education

October 7, 2013 | Did You Know

Technology has changed traditional education. In addition to classrooms and lectures halls, students can now take classes fully online — or mix online and on-campus settings. Blended options are cost effective, convenient and still allow students access to college life.

Broward College offers all three class options to help students reach their educational goals. Here is a brief break down of the different modes:

  • Traditional Classes: Students are taught face-to-face in a “brick-mortar” classroom. Students are on-campus, using walk-in services and participating in student life events.
  • Online Classes: Students take courses online and participate in virtual classrooms from anywhere in the world. Some online programs are now available at a self-paced option — allowing students to progress through the coursework at a pace that best suites them.
  • Blended Classes: This hybrid type of learning gives students a mixture of both on-campus and online learning in the same course. Email, chat rooms, virtual drop boxes and other web-based services are used by students and the instructor.

Whatever your learning preference, Broward College is committed to helping prepare you for your career with a high-quality, affordable education. We offer certificate programs, two-year university-transfer degrees, two-year career degrees and baccalaureate degrees in selected programs.. Many of these programs are offered fully online.

In addition to the variety of class options and programs Broward College offers, we have the most affordable tuition compared to similar institutions in South Florida. The average online class at Broward is just $337.
