Broward College Celebrates Women’s History Month
Women’s History Month was officially designated by the U.S. Congress in 1987 to honor and recognize the contributions and efforts of women throughout history. At Broward College, we are proud to be able to present a number of events saluting the extraordinary accomplishments of women:

- Women of Broward Speakers Panel
Wednesday, March 12, from noon to 2 p.m.
Building 4, Bailey Hall
Join us for a lively discussion about the contributions of women in the community. Participants include Natalie Justice, manager of Tigertail Lake Recreational Center; Alice Murillo, dean of the University/College Library; Ana Price, Continuing Education program manager; and Trish Joyce, professor of English.

- Celebrating Women of Character, Courage and Commitment Panel Discussion
Monday, March 24, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

Attend this panel discussion and luncheon to honor the incredible determination and tenacity of women. Guest speakers include Quakish Liner, professor of reading; Terri Justice, dean of academic resources; Melinda Shoemaker, professor of psychology; and Gisella Segarra, Broward College alumnae.
