The Fort Lauderdale Strikers are coming to Broward College

The Fort Lauderdale Strikers of the North American Soccer League are coming to Broward College for a September 21 game against the Seahawks’ men’s team. The Strikers’ visit is a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys watching high-powered, fast-action soccer. Broward College President J. David Armstrong, Jr. will serve as the honorary coach for the Seahawks. Fort Lauderdale Strikers

“It’s an honor for our guys to get the chance to play against a pro team like the Strikers,” said Broward’s men’s coach Munga Eketebi. “It’s every serious soccer player’s dream to play professionally and a game like this gives our players the chance to see how we stack up against them.”

The game will take place at the soccer complex at the Judson A. Samuels South Campus, 7200 Pines Boulevard, Pembroke Pines. The game starts at 7 p.m. A free tailgate party with food and beverages will be held before the game. Admission is free.
