Jonathan Schwartz has been appointed the associate vice president for operations planning and real estate at Broward College
Jonathan Schwartz has been appointed the associate vice president for operations planning and real estate at Broward College. Schwartz is responsible for the college’s real estate development including the redevelopment of the Holcombe Center in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
Schwartz earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Business Administration degree at Florida Atlantic University.
Before coming to Broward, Schwartz held several positions at AutoNation, Inc. including Construction and Development Manager, Lease Manager, Project Supervisor and Real Estate Analyst.
He serves as a trustee of Donna Klein Jewish Academy, and has been appointed to the City of Fort Lauderdale Education Advisory Board. He is also on the Broward College Village Square advisory board, and is a founding member of the Fort Lauderdale Turkey Trot. He is a graduate of Leadership Broward, a past member of Leadership Broward’s board of trustees, past chair of Emerge Broward, and was recognized as a member of “Fort Lauderdale’s 40 Under 40” list by Gold Coast Magazine.
