Jean-Michel Cousteau to Speak at Broward College on May 21
Son of famed ocean explorer Jacques Cousteau, Jean-Michel has followed in his father’s footsteps by dedicating himself to protecting our “water planet” for the last four decades. On Wednesday, May 21, at 2:30 p.m. he will meet with Broward College students at North Campus, 1000 Coconut Creek Blvd. Coconut Creek, Building 46, Room 152. Cousteau serves as founder and spokesman of Ocean Futures Society, a conservation and
educational organization. He has also produced more than 80 films, earning an Emmy Award and a Peabody Award for his work.
At 8 p.m. he will give a lecture as a part of the Fort Lauderdale Speaker Series at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.
