Broward College’s Lingua Language Center to Host Grand Opening at Weston Center
To celebrate its new location, the Lingua Language Center at Broward College will host a grand opening event on Thursday, January 21 at 6 p.m. The event will take place at the Weston Center, 4205 Bonaventure Boulevard, Weston.
“The Lingua Language Center has a long history in Weston,” said Erwin Richter, general manager of the Lingua Language Center at Broward College. “We are excited to extend our presence in Broward County, and offer our award-winning, intensive English and foreign language classes to even more members of the community.”
The new location will offer Lingua’s intensive English program; a wide range of foreign language classes, including French, Portuguese, Italian, and Spanish; and a variety of supplemental courses, such as TOEFL test preparation, business English, English conversation, and accent reduction. The courses are intended to guide students through the process of transitioning to American higher education, and prepare them for a professional career; or enhance their personal growth through language education.
The Lingua Language Center at Broward College combines Lingua’s proven track record of successful language learning with the extensive academic resources of Broward College. It offers a distinctive approach to language learning in a full-immersion environment. The Lingua Language Center also is authorized to enroll non-immigrant foreign students, and offers support services to international students, including orientation, accommodation, transportation, medical insurance and field trips.
